A selection of academic works

In 2006 I completed my Ph.D. in history at the University of Cologne (Prof. Wolfgang Schieder) and the Centre for Modern Oriental Studies in Berlin (Prof. Dr. Gerhard Höpp). My book "Between the axis and the mandate - Palestine and the Nazis" was published in 2007. Since then, I have often participated in academic conferences, published academic papers and taught undergraduate and graduate courses.

In 2018 I taught a seminar on the "Arab Spring" at the University of Potsdam, since 2021 I am an Adjunct Lecturer at the International Hellenic University/Thessaloniki in its BSEM (Black Sea and Eastern Mediterranean) Master, teaching courses such as „19th and 20th century history of the Black Sea and Eastern Mediterranean region“ or „Political Islam Across Three Continents“ (30 hours / semester)
